When hurricane Irene struck the east coast last year, a power failure stopped our sump pump at home and the basement filled with water. After extracting the carpet, we were left with a super-ugly, beat up, bare asbestos floor.

Due to the flexibility and great adhesion of our peel & stick vinyl, preparation was not a big challenge. I had used our self-adhesive vinyl square tiles in our garage last year. The floor in the garage was a bit more level but was a bare cement floor. That installation was super-easy and the tile is still firmly in place and still looks great.

The wood floor vinyl planks I install here in this video are 2mm thick (thicker than the ones I used in the garage) and the customers I've sold them to date rave about how great they look and how easy they are to install. So I used this opportunity to install and demonstrate this for you.
